Fees
Two fees, both on the ticket before you place anything.
Every trade has two fees, both shown on the ticket before you place anything: the exchange's trading fee, and noct's.
| Trade | noct | The exchange |
|---|---|---|
| Options | 1% of what it costs, once, on opening | Derive's trading fee |
| Perps | 0.05% of the size, opening and closing | Hyperliquid's trading fee |
| Predict, taking a price | 1% of what it costs | Polymarket's, where it charges one |
| Predict, waiting orders | 0.5% of what fills | None, often a rebate |
- On options, closing early or holding to the date costs nothing more from noct.
- On Predict, the part of a limit order that fills at once pays the first rate; what waits on the book and fills later pays the second.
- If you were referred, noct's fee is 10% lower, and cashback gives part of what's left back to you.
