Your account and keys
Where your money is, how one-tap trading works, and what's public.
Where your money is
In your own wallet, and in your own accounts on Hyperliquid, Polymarket and Derive, which only your wallet controls. noct can't move, freeze or withdraw it.
Trading with one tap
Trades are signed by a key that lives on your device, kept encrypted there.
- It can place and close trades. It can't withdraw.
- It lapses after 90 days (180 on Predict, the shortest Polymarket allows).
- With the wallet noct made for you, these keys and your account on each exchange are set up the moment you're in, with nothing to press.
- With a wallet of your own, each exchange asks once, in your wallet's app, the first time you trade there.
Settings › Trading (on a phone, Trading access) shows where trading is on, on each exchange and each device. You can turn any of it off from any device.
Auto-copy uses a separate key that noct keeps, encrypted, so it can trade while you're away. It can trade and can never withdraw. See Auto-copy.
Your username
Your username is also your code and your link (noct.trade/@you): during the beta it lets people in, and it always counts them as brought by you. You claim it when you join and settle it in the welcome; after that it's yours for good and can't be changed (write to us if it really needs to be). Links shared under a name you had before keep crediting you, and nobody else can take that name.
What's public
Your profile, your trades and their results, and your posts. Anyone can open your trader card from a trade, a face on a chart or the leaderboard.
